THE WORK
Ainsley Shea created and executed a comprehensive public affairs campaign that elevated the No Fuel Ban all-of-the-above energy message across Minnesota. The work unified agricultural leaders, labor voices, and supply chain stakeholders through coalition letters, media guides, op-eds, digital content, video and cartoon advertising, grants to partners, coordinated testimony, petitions, and targeted field activity in key legislative districts.

THE RESULT
The campaign clarified the economic and consumer impacts
of proposed Clean Transportation Standard policies for policymakers and the public. Decision-makers and voters gained a fact-based understanding of how California-style mandates could affect fuel prices, jobs, and choice. No Fuel Ban strengthened its visibility, broadened coalition engagement, and increased pressure on legislators to weigh costs, benefits, and consequences before advancing restrictive energy policies.

An infographic comparing fuel prices and policies in California, Minnesota, and Washington. California and Washington have no fuel available at the pump, while Minnesota's fuel costs $3.05 per gallon today and $3.50 if a proposed CTS policy is implemented. The infographic notes previous fuel prices in California ($3.06 before and $5.52 after), Washington ($4.64 before and $5.04 after), and Minnesota ($3.05 today). Text explains the impact of fuel ban policies enacted by California, Washington, and proposed by Minnesota.
