Trade Alliance to Promote Prosperity (TAPP) was founded in the summer of 2009 and led by Pat Rosenstiel to marshal widespread national opposition to a Section 421 petition, which called for new tariffs on Chinese tires. After an overwhelmingly successful campaign to fight for America’s right to trade freely with other economies, TAPP has emerged as a leading voice in the debate over free trade in America.
Co-founded by Ainsley Shea and currently directed by our very own Sara Croom, we have shaped all of TAPP’s work – from Kevin Gaffney working media relations, to branding/design and direct engagement with lawmakers. TAPP recently called for an entire new website to get their message across to important stakeholders while upping their profile through SEO. Ainsley Shea created a new website, with a content management system that brought their easy-to-update blog to the forefront of TAPP’s message center. We are advocates for entrepreneurs, businesses, and believe in creating success.

Sabrina is a student at the University of Minnesota on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism – Strategic Communications. She supports the Ainsley Shea team and knows how to get up to speed on any topic, fast. Whether it is writing, research or outreach; she gets the job done. Before coming to Ainsley Shea, she served in marketing and communications roles at places like the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities and Spoon University. Born in Venezuela, she is fluent in Spanish and brings valuable insight that can only come with having lived in another part of the world.
Sara has worked at the highest levels of policymaking and government, first in office of the House Majority Leader and later, the Bush administration (as a congressional liaison between the President, First Lady and members of Congress). But that hasn’t stopped her from also making the ranks in some of D.C.’s biggest tech powerhouses like CampaignGrid, Disruptor Capital, and New Media Strategies. Croom is a strategic media consultant with a successful track record and extensive experience. If it’s political and online – she should be your first call.
We brought Kevin on as an unknown intern, but his niche as a badass writer, intuitive story-pitcher, and strategist-in-training kept him on board. From biotechnology to financial services and renewable energy – Kevin has led a broad range of public affairs and public relations efforts while working at Ainsley Shea. Although his hair takes on various forms, he always exudes brilliance.
