We know G2C.
We know Minnesota is great. You know it. But sometimes outsiders need to be sold on the idea of settling in “the North.” The Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development (DEED) called on us to craft messages that would attract out-of-state residents and businesses to our winter wonderland. We designed print collateral that Minnesota’s largest employers could use to attract talent.
This creative strategy isn’t just throwing shit at the wall because we live here and happen to know what to say. DEED had extensive market research and institutional intelligence that we were able to utilize to develop a comprehensive marketing plan and positioning document that would frame Minnesota as a center of opportunity for businesses and individuals alike. Kevin Gaffney and Jeff Pfoser added our own internal research to come up with plenty of reasons to add Minnesota to the ‘minnow bucket list’ of families and businesses. Jing Zhang kept the project moving like clockwork – ensuring the client's tight deadlines and budgetary restrictions were met with ease.
Now you can find thousands of copies of this work across the country, attracting the best of the best to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
We brought Kevin on as an unknown intern, but his niche as a badass writer, intuitive story-pitcher, and strategist-in-training kept him on board. From biotechnology to financial services and renewable energy – Kevin has led a broad range of public affairs and public relations efforts while working at Ainsley Shea. Although his hair takes on various forms, he always exudes brilliance.
Pfoser is a One-namer. And his talents have delivered award-winning print, identity development, film, video, interactive, and mobile projects for the benefit of organizations like the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development, marchFIRST, Priority Publications, Creatis, Easel Training, and ASI Communications.
